Equality Policy

The All Nations Football League (ANFL) is fully committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of its activities. We aim to create an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and able to participate in football regardless of background or identity.

We oppose all forms of discrimination and will take appropriate action against any individual or group found to be in breach of this policy.

Ensure fair and equal treatment for all participants

  • Promote inclusion and accessibility within the league

  • Prevent discrimination, harassment, and victimisation

  • Provide a framework for reporting and addressing concerns

This policy applies to:

  • Players

  • Coaches and managers

  • Match officials

  • League committee members

  • Volunteers

  • Spectators and supporters

It covers all league-related activities including matches, training, events, and communications (including social media).

ANFL is committed to ensuring that no individual or group is treated less favourably based on:

  • Age

  • Disability

  • Gender reassignment

  • Marriage or civil partnership

  • Pregnancy or maternity

  • Race (including nationality, ethnicity, or national origin)

  • Religion or belief

  • Sex

  • Sexual orientation

  • Socio-economic background

Unacceptable Behaviour, The following will not be tolerated: Discrimination (direct or indirect), Harassment (verbal, physical, or online) Bullying or intimidation, Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or abusive language or Victimisation of individuals who raise concerns

All Nations have a duty and Responsibilities, League Committee to Ensure this policy is implemented and reviewed regularly and Respond appropriately to reported incidents. to Promote awareness and education around equality.

We require all Teams (Managers & Coaches)to Promote inclusive behaviour within teams and Address inappropriate conduct immediately and Support players who raise concerns. We request all Players & Participants to Treat others with respect and dignity, Challenge inappropriate behaviour where safe to do so and Report incidents in line with league procedures

Reporting & Disciplinary Action

Any concerns or breaches of this policy should be reported to the league committee. All reports will be, Taken seriously Investigated fairly and confidentially and Addressed promptly

Disciplinary action may include:

  • Warnings

  • Suspensions

  • Expulsion from the league

  • Referral to governing bodies where necessary

ANFL is committed to, Encouraging participation from underrepresented groups, Making reasonable adjustments for individuals with disabilities and Creating a welcoming environment for all communities

This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if required to ensure it remains effective and aligned with best practice. This Equality Policy is adopted by the All Nations Football League and applies to all members and participants with immediate effect.
